Michelle has been working with our daughter (2) for 6 months and we have seen improvement in her communication, understanding and behavior. My daughter looks forward to their sessions every week. Michelle is an amazing teacher- easy to follow, engaging, and full of practical tips. Her webinar was incredibly helpful for me as a mom, especially learning to let my children experience frustration and how to talk about pride from their perspective. I cannot thank Michelle enough for the incredible progress she has helped my son achieve. When she first began working with him in September 2024, he was only saying ‘hi’ and ‘bye’—no other words, sounds, or even ‘mama’ and ‘dada.’ In just four months of weekly sessions, Michelle’s guidance and expertise have made a world of difference. My son can now mimic sounds and is trying to say words, which is a huge step forward for him. Today, we had a heartwarming moment that I owe to Michelle’s dedication. Without any prompting, my son brought me an alphabet puzzle piece, handed it to me, and said, ‘I.’ When I didn’t respond right away, he repeated it, pointing to the piece again. It was such a small but monumental win, and my heart was so full of joy! Michelle has been professional, supportive, and truly outstanding throughout this journey. Her patience, care, and commitment have given us hope and tangible progress. Michelle is a caring & effective provider. She's committed to the kids she supports and is also really focused on how parents can learn the skills to in turn support their kids. Michelle has been working with my 22 month old - helping him to develop a vocabulary, continue to create new sounds and even providing tips and tricks on how to help him evolve as a little human. I have been enjoying working with Michelle so much! She is very knowledgeable, and I have felt so comfortable working with her. It's been easy to understand and follow her recommendations for improving my speech. She has also been helpful in recommending activities as my speech has gotten better. We absolutely LOVE Michelle! Our son was diagnosed with speech delay at 18 months due to only saying between 3-5 words on a good day and very inconsistently. We are not even 2 months into speech therapy with Michelle and his speech has improved drastically. He can count to Five, knows Most of his ABCs and most importantly can use words in his day to day to communicate with us. Michelle is not only teaching our son but providing us with tools to help motivate his day to day speech. She is extremely knowledgeable and extremely patient. Our son was diagnosed with Autism so tantrums were a big part of our day. We can honestly say that the tantrums have decreased tremendously and our son who usually keeps to himself enjoys his lessons and is always ready to learn.

Working with Michelle has been life-changing.  We were initially connected with her to work with our 18-month-old son through Westside Regional Center.   We had gone through 4 therapists before finding Michelle- and she is exactly what he needed!  She gets down on the floor with him to talk face-to-face, she is animated and talks loudly and energetically, is silly, and takes control of the sessions.  She follows his lead, but is firm and assertive when necessary (for example, if she brings a toy he isn't interested in, she'll move on to whatever he is playing with and won't force it, but if he is finished with a particular task he has been working on, she will insist that he provide some sort of language to acknowledge he is "all done" before moving on).  She not only helped our son directly, but she gave us parents so many tools to help him.  We quickly learned working with Michelle that although our son was delayed, there was SO much that we as a family could to do help his progress- we were part of the problem by giving him everything he could want without having to use any words.  After implementing the strategies she taught us (in just 10 weeks) his word count jumped from 35 words to close to 100.  It was remarkable. Realizing how magical Michelle was, we also engaged her directly (outside of WRC) to help with some behavioral issues we were having with our 5-year-old daughter.  In just 2 sessions, we had implemented a bedtime routine that our daughter loved, and bedtime went from a 2-hour long battle to a 20-minute process that we actually enjoy!  She used to get up 5-10 times per night after "lights out."  Now, it's once (usually none).   But it's not just that we gave our daughter rules and guidelines, the new "plan" actually made our relationship so much stronger and connected.  She feels engaged and fulfilled at night, so she can peacefully go to sleep, instead of feeling anxious and desiring of more mom/dad time.  She also started reading books of her own volition- something she never did before because we were too busy arguing about getting into bed. We had a wonderful experience working with Michelle. She helped me and my 6 month old take normal ‘play’ time and turn it into a series of valuable communication moments. Using her simple strategies I feel like I’m now more engaged with my daughter and she is learning and growing with me every day. Working with Michelle has been nothing but a pleasant and positive experience. My two year old boy, who has a shy personality, instantly clicked with her and felt comfortable around her from the first meeting. We saw a big improvement  in my son’s speech from the first week of working with Michelle. He has started using his words to communicate with us and is always learning new words. Michelle is also very good at giving parents instructions on what they need to do when she is not around. This has been very helpful for me because now I know what approach I need to use to make sure my son’s speech keeps improving. I had been searching for someone to help me learn strategies to educate while playing with my twin grandbabies and along came Michelle!!  I just had a session with Michelle and I learned so many valuable tips. First and foremost I learned the importance of slowing down while playing and reading.  She observed me while I was playing with them and instantly gave me advice on what to do different. She has so much knowledge with her years as a speech therapist. I highly recommend Michelle if you are looking to get the most educational value while still playing with your babies or grandbabies. I truly can’t say enough about how helpful Baby Blooming Moments has been when it comes to information regarding healthy and effective parenting tools and managing challenging behaviors. I hope all parents know resources and outlets like Michelle’s Baby Blooming Moments program exist! Michelle's program was fun and very helpful. She helped us learn how to better interact and communicate with our toddler and we've seen a huge difference in just a few months. Michelle is so caring, she treated my daughter, Carlin, as if it was her own daughter. She is meticulous in her attention to detail. She made us feel so encouraged and that helped us so much in coping with our concerns. Her years of experience were reflected in the progress of our child.
